


My name is Charlotte and I’m the face behind “Help Me With My Event.” I have worked in the corporate & luxury events market as the wedding & special events sales coordinator for The Grand Hotel in Brighton for the last seven years and have helped lots of clients coordinate and plan their events.
I live in Newhaven, got married to my husband Aidan in 2021 and had our son in January 2023. My parents are based in Hove (actually) and I grew up in and around Brighton as a local.
October 2023 has seen a new change for me having been made redundant from The Grand Hotel due to their changing business strategy and so I have taken the bold decision to set-up my own consultancy and use my years of experience & contacts in the conference, special events and wedding market to assist in planning and coordinating external events on a freelance basis.
I’ve helped over 100+ wedding couples create their dream wedding day within a luxury hotel environment, from helping to manage a couples budget, liaising with external suppliers, managing all coordination elements and being available to reassure and execute on the day.
I have assisted in conference planning & logistics for annually returning business from 20 to up to 500 guests. I have also overseen the majority of the charity gala banqueting events at the hotel attended annually by the good and greats of Brighton.
I have a well rounded knowledge of the work (and stress) that goes into the pre-planning of an event and the running on the day and am used to multitasking, managing workload and organizing data on a prioritizing basis.
Throughout the COVID19 pandemic, I assisted in the counselling and reassurance for all the wedding couples at the hotel and the everchanging government stipulations that were thrown the industries way.
I’m happy to assist in pre-planning, delegate management, diary management, email correspondences, supplier sourcing, venue visits or on the day coordination. Whatever your business or event needs on a contract that is flexible to you.
